Despite Valiant Effort, Team Falls Short of South Carolina State Title Repeat

The 3.5 Savannah Lakes Village Lady Lakers competed at the USTA South Carolina State Tournament in Hilton Head the weekend of May 19th.  Despite a valiant performance, they were unable to follow up their 2011 State Championship title run.  The team did however achieve a winning record overall, losing only one match in their flight.  They also beat the team that went on to eventually win the state championship. We are very proud of our 2012  team for representing Savannah Lakes Village at the state tournament.
