Rod & Gun Club Plans Second Naturalist Talk
Hapenings within the Rod & Gun Club
The Savannah Lakes Village Rod & Gun Club will host for it’s members a second Naturalist Talk and Dinner on Thursday June 21, at the Tara Clubhouse.
Happy Hour will start at 5pm with dinner being served at 6pm. Following dinner, Joe and Lee Belanger, Master Naturalists and SLV residents, will present a program on endangered, exotic, and native animals. They will bring the club up to date on local bald eagles, what threat if any non-native (exotic) animals are playing locally, and the real scoop on panthers, bobcats, alligators and South Carolina’s research on Burmese pythons. There will also be discussion on Joe’s and Lee’s adventures in tagging sharks, banding birds, and rescuing injured animals. Don’t miss this lively and informative presentation.
